I have just made my payment for chicka and myself. I'll get back to you on food, but we'll do everything but Sunday activities, yet to decide what we're doing that day! :)

S: Salmon, Prawns, Meringue

For the benefit of the spreadsheet I am a "Yes" for Friday drinks and a "No" for Sunday's Green Island cruise. [My contingent plans regarding the Bavarian Beer Cafe on Sunday were set out above.]
 
We're in for dinner and drinks on Friday, dinner on Saturday is now paid but we will probably give Kuranda a miss as we have both done the train and Skyrail a couple of times in the past.

Coincidentally Mr Fifa and I have chosen the same meal choices:
Soup
Lamb
Lemon meringue

We are venturing to Fitzroy Island on the Friday - booked via a website offering the return ferry for only $34.50pp.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone :).

I had confirmation yesterday that Red Roo is joining us at dinner on Saturday night. Whilst not down as a guest speaker, I am sure there will be an opportunity for some Q&As.

With just over three weeks to go, please make sure you indicate:


  • Where you are staying*
  • What events you will be attending
  • What you would like to eat on Saturday night, and
  • Make your payment. The details are in post #2 of this thread.

*We need this for the collection point for Saturday's tour. If you are not staying at either the DoubleTree of Hilton, please advise which one of them is easier to meet at.
 
Payment now made for both of us. We will be attending drinks on Friday, going to Kuranda and the Dinner on Sat.

We are on the same flight as you on Thursday so hope to catch up in the lounge in BNE.

We have also been to Kuranda before so will give that a miss too.

Paid for dinner and Kuranda for the 2 of us.

Dinner choices are 2x Salmon, 2x Prawns, 1x lemon meringue tart, 1x chocolate fudge cake.

Will also do drinks and dinner on the Friday night.
 
So:
We will be at dinner and drinks on Friday night.

Will catch up with local friends on Saturday.

Money paid ($60 x 2) for dinner Saturday: 1 x Kangaroo, 1 x Salmon; 1 x Prawns, 1 x Lamb; 1 x lemon Meringue and 1 x Cointreau with crepes on the side.

Will head by boat to Green Island on Sunday.

Mon - Wednesday: Cooktown

Thurs: QF649 to BNE
 
If anyone is there early, I'll be there on the 13 and 14th! Mondos for lunch, exec lounge for canapés and drinks!
