Well time to finish off.As others have said the SIN QF F lounge is not the best there is.When we arrived it was crowded.Only 1 pair of seats vacant.Food offering has not changed since we were last here 2 years ago.Mrsdron went out to peruse the shops and i checked out AFF.
Had 3 hours before boarding. We left before the call but even so we were near last to board-must have started early.Though was again at about the furthest gate from the Flounge and i am now a slow walker.Knee replacement will probably occur next year.So on to QF52 SIN-BNE.
Plane full.Settle down into 4a,B.No champers offered just given the breakfast menu and told it must be filled out and given back before take off.Only the unexciting continental breakfast so why the ? does it have to be done now.Certainly not for the pax's benefit.
Pushback on time but then wait for ~ 15 minutes before given clearance.Very soon after the seat belt signs go off a drink service.an hour later the meal-hey there are a lot of folks here want to sleep.Once again a rather ordinary meal.I had the Pork curry-very mild and lukewarm.Mrsdrron orders the Chicken in a Coconut and Coriander broth.Comes liberally laced with chilli that she will not eat. After desserts(icecream)have to ask for the Bailey's muscat as not on the trolley.
Both of us then get off to sleep and are woken for the breakfast service.Once again cold toast.Really not impressed with the QF breakfast.
Arrive just after the QF LAX,and a SQ service. However doors open quickly and we are able to pass most of the other planes pax.Through the fast lane.Thought our bags will be nearly last off as changing from MH and therefore no priority stickers-but no in the first 10.Seems to me the priority stickers seem to slow your bags.
In a record 25 minutes after stepping off the plane we are in our Little Mountain Limo and heading back to the Sunny coast.
