Re: AMEX Explorer referral

With only a few days left, I'll throw my referral link out there again;

http://amex.com.au/refer/wesleed0nK

The card costs $395 a year, but is easily offset by the $400 Amex travel credit which can be spent on flights, hotels etc. In addition, by using my referral link (or someone else's) you will receive 110,000 Membership Reward points if you spend $1,500 on the card in the first two months. The person who's link you use will receive 20,000 points.

Amex are my favourite financial institution. Not only do they have fantastic customer service, great points earning opportunities - but they also regularly have great cashback offers.

Re: AMEX Explorer referral

I received another unexpected bonus today- many thanks to the person who used it

Re: Your Karma balance will reward you too. AMEX best offer IMO.

Hi All

For those last minute Affers signing up, here is my last minute link.

If you sign up using my referral link, you will earn 110,000 membership rewards points and as a referrer, I'll earn 20,000 points for each referral made.

Receive 110,000 Membership Rewards® Bonus Points when you apply online by 30 January 2017, are approved and spend $1,500 on your Card within the first 3 months of Card Membership. Card comes with a $395 annual fee and minimum income requirement of $65,000.

Thanks in advance to anyone who uses my referral http://amex.com.au/refer/juliet0uAZ

I'll throw myself back into contention - never had a referral, but there's still time for a first one with this card...

http://amex.com.au/refer/martieYqQm

Use my link and get a 10k MR point bonus on top of the standard 100k - 110k total. I'll get 20k points for my (ahem) trouble...

$395 annual fee, can be offset with $400 amex travel credit and the other advertised goodies that come with the card.

The MR points transfer at 4:3 to most airlines, 82.5k KF miles will get you suites class from MEL or SYD to a reasonable amount of asia.

Some applications are approved within 1 minute, so for the savvy, there is still time to apply and refer your significant other to apply - potentially netting 110k + 20K +110K for 2 applications. Happy hunting!

Good luck and enjoy

Ummm, are you just toying with JT

Thank you very much to the forum member who used my link, the 20k referral bonus is much appreciated! Now only 1 referral bonus away from the planned SQ Suites redemption from Aus-JFK!

If anyone else would like to put me over the top it would be hugely appreciated as well! 20k pts for me, 110k pts and an excellent card for you! What could be better? :P

Only a few more days to apply for what I'd like to proclaim as the best credit card deal of 2016. I also proclaim this as the best credit card in Australia when combined with a platinum amex to merge into the ascent program.
Throwing my referral link into the ring, you get 110k bonus points and I get 20k. Much appreciated if anyone uses my link:

Last minute plug for my referral link for those of you applying over the weekend before the promotion finishes: http://amex.com.au/refer/williwdqsF

Disclosure: Sign up using a referral link, and you'll earn 110,000 points (as a referrer, I'll earn 20,000 points for each referral made). The card has a fee of $395, but you are also entitled to $400 travel credit. Current expiration of the referral promotion is 31 January 2017.

  • I would be very grateful if anyone uses my referral link, I've just made my first redemption getting my girlfriend and I to Europe - where I will be proposing (luckily she doesn't read these forums);
  • If anyone would like to help fund our honey moon in the near future it would be very much appreciated!

Also worth checking the discussion on here if you haven't already (hence the references to ascent linking): http://www.australianfrequentflyer....edit-card-new-amex-77925-128.html#post1578626

A reminder that anyone posting a referral link must follow the guidelines specified in the sticky at the start of the referral sub-forum.

Specifically:

Update 31 March 2015: Just to be 100% clear. Both the Referrer and Referee must receive the benefit which needs to be clearly defined, transparent and stated in the post. Links to "affiliate-type" sites where the Referrer receives an incentive/bonus, and there is no clear benefit to the Referee for using that link is not acceptable.

Posts that do not have the required information will continue to be deleted.

I posted a referral link recently and then Amex had problems the next day with a lot of referral links not working so I posted an updated link which I see does not work but the original link I had posted is now working again so I'll post it again in case anyone still wants to sign up for the Explorer card by tomorrow - January 30. If you've been considering this card now is the time to apply!

By using a referral link you'll receive an extra 10,000 points so you receive 110,000 Membership Rewards points if you apply by 30 January 2017, are approved for an American Express Explorer Credit Card, and spend $1,500 in your first 2 months of Card Membership and I receive 20,000 Membership Rewards points for providing the referral. I received 110,000 points for using a referral here a few weeks ago after learning all of the advantages of this card here on AFF on the "Explorer Credit Card (New AMEX Card!)" thread http://www.australianfrequentflyer.c...mex-77925.html (The Explorer Credit Card (New AMEX Card!)) as well as this thread.

This card would be one of the best earning cards for general expenditure, giving 2 points per dollar, even more so if you already have or then subsequently apply for a Platinum Edge, Reserve or Charge card and can be linked to the Ascent program after receiving the 110,000 bonus points. There is a lot of info in the above thread, including a Wiki summarising the pertinent information.

Thanks to anyone who would like to use my link:

Full details of the card are listed on this page on the Amex website:

Down to the last day on this one and thought I would give it a crack. If you are one of the few that have not applied for the Explorer card from American Express and you still wish to get in on the extra 10,000 signup points for using a referral link, here is mine http://amex.com.au/refer/michabIiBM

Just to be clear, by using this link before the promotion end you will receive an extra 10,000 points on top of the current 100,000 points offer (for a total of 110,000) and I will receive 20,000 points for having my link used.

Would be very grateful to anyone that uses it.

Just 2 days left!

Note if you are already signed up to the ASCENT program via another card.
To ensure you get bonus points call them and have them switch your rewards program to gateway to get the bonus 110,000 points ( i've also used a referral link from this thread), just need to spend $1500.

Please use my referral link to get receive a bonus 10,000 points totalling 110,000 (instead of 100,000) points by using my link and I receive 20,000 points. Make sure you call up to get them to switch your rewards program to gateway (if you already have an amex with ascent) before you spend $1500 otherwise you will not receive the bonus pts.

Thanks

*offer ends 30th January 2017

Folks - final plug from me before the end of the promotion.

I just got my first referral! However the referral was me - this card is based on household income, not individual, and your partner/SO can be approved based on this. I've just had the missus, with her permission of course, also approved for this card, again in the 5 minutes or so it takes to apply on line.

So - there's time to apply, be approved, and recommend a friend.

But for the basics - 110k MR points, 10K of which is a bonus for clicking my link, and I'll get 20k for you doing so.

Cheers!
