Sorry, but I am old !
There was a site sometime ago but it seems AMEX have updated or I was confused with Velocity Amex Platinum.
The Plat reserve card has an included Priority Club membership with two free entries per annum. Each additional entry is USD27.

The Amex Platinum Charge card has an included Priority Club membership with unlimited free entries per year.

No it's a Plat Charge Supp and it does look different to my Primary card. My primary card has a black border and chip. The Supp has no border just a vertical line to the right and the wording Platinum. Does it say anywhere(ie AMEX or Virgin terms of entry) that Supp cards should be accepted?

"Platinum" down the side = the Edge card.

Happily to report back that I've got my kids in the Melbourne lounge without an issue. There's quite a few kids running around there...

of course , their parents would be making sure that those kids that are running around the lounge are doing it quietly and with respect to the other lounge patrons

My young boy which is 2 1/2 has flown with me 5 times this month on his own PAID BUSINESS TICKET and i will let you know that he has been better behaved than half of the " so called adults " who have inhabited the lounge at the same time. I only wish more adults would with all respect think of the other lounge patrons while they carry on with their poor behaviour.

Cheers

welcome to AFF. i agree that alot of adults take the lounges for granted. our 4 daughters have been using the lounges since not long out of drapers and they are very respectful of other occupants.

Additional cards have a A/C on it, well at least the plat credit card does...

My primary card is printed "Chicken"
My extra card is printed "Chicken A/C"
The supplementary card I gave my sister is printed "Brat Chicken", but doesn't have "A/C" after it.

On the plat website it now says that the member can take a guest in with them - is this correct? Because in the T&Cs below that they haven't been updated to reflect that a guest is allowed. If someone can clarify since I'm flying with a friend in 48 hours...

Does the AMEX Plat card give you access to the Melb AirNZ Lounge when flying mel to queens town on a virgin flight number (but operated by air nz) ?

Yeah, the PP membership is You+ guest for both main and supp cards. Decent really. Also includes guest for VA I believe.
