If another one of those 1000 bonus pts at ww for only1 visas come up,
Become local champion, get 4ppd which will be 2ppd
1000 pts is $5
95c for the fee
211 pts at a cost of 95c is just under 0.5%

That's well below the acceptable threshold for most

Out of interest I saw in the online Officeworks site, some $250 (EDIT: $200) Only1s with a $7.95 fee. Still marginal for me

YEP!! Started panicking when only option showing was gift cards but managed to find a back door to airline points. Phew.
Balance zero now!

That happened to me late last night too but I didn't find the back door. When to bed in a panic thinking that AmEx had pulled a swifty. Tried again this morning and the website loaded fine (in firefox) and all points transferred. Zero balance does look weird.

Same, I haven't been to a petrol station in years. We should be able to get 3 MR points (1.5 frequent flyer points) on our power bills instead...

SOPOOR - But minus the 100 or so points that you would get for paying with a good points earning Visa = 0.86 c/ppt marginal return.
Still barely worth - but since I buy points at 1.15c/ppt ( I earn Qantas points instead of $10 back at woolies) - still below my 'normal'
purchase price
