AmEx Platinum Card: 325,000 Bonus Points (Spend $5000 in 3 Months), $450 Travel Credit, $400 Dining Credit, $1450 Annual Fee

Referral link? I thought the offer is shown on your browser page as you click the link and not a referral link?
Correct. None, I repeat, none of the referrals will generate 325,000 points. Try incognito browsing and see if that works.

Not sure why i cannot private message?
I think a member would need a certain number of posts in AFF before they are able to send DMs. I think you can, however, receive DMs ?

my refer link and show 325k
does it say, the applicant has to be a new member? i.e. no Amex AU product in the last 18 months?

All referral links say the referee must not have held an Amex product in the last 18 months.

Alright, so you don't get anything except the standard 325k points if you can't manage to follow the OzBargain instructions properly, and the referrer also gets 50k in their pocket. Is that correct, or am I reading it wrong?
The standard link sans referral has ceased showing variable points. It’s not showing 325k anymore nor 150k. Just flat 200. The disclaimer about the points being variable is also gone.

Ah gotcha , maybe they met their quota so ended that. Take the offer thru referrals then I guess, anyway it can be got.

That is incorrect.

I referred my wife to the card. When I logged in, it said she would get 200k points, but once she clicked the link it said 325k points. I assume this would be the case for everyone

Helps a friendly AFF'er to get some extra points as well. I don't hold the card so have no vested interest, but always encourage sharing between friends!
True. Has been posted on the Qantas Points Collectors Facebook group by someone now with their own referral link, and the backlash has been immense.

Glad sticking to this forum here only haha!
