What chemists take Amex? My local ones only take Visa/MC

In my bit of Sydney, most independents take Amex but the Warehouse type ones don't

Discount Drug Stores. Wesley pharmac_. Some independents like the local chemist at Milton.

Just split payment across 2 cards at chemist and then same at the deli across the road. No idea if chemist is in the small program but deli is and I have not received amex notification of either transaction. Is amex notifying this time round?

You'll need to check the map, it's location specific.

Planning is key

I've already located 10 shops that I will visit on Monday and 5 purchases I will make at each shop.

With 120 purchases to be made by the end of the month planing is key

I'll be hoping that the cash backs come straight away as I need to cancel all AMEX cards before the end of Nov in order to get my applications in for 3 new credit cards by the end of 2016.

When planning I like to review the shop small list against the Entertainment Book vouchers - many restaurants in my area are in both

It's possible. There are often other types of shops that do Opal that are part of small shop.

Yes. Although many have a 50c-$2 surcharge. There is a list on ozbargain

There are five chemists that I have been to this year, depending on where I am when I think of getting something, and they all take Amex. So, it seems fairly common around my area.

Download the ozbargain excel spreadsheet & do a search that way. I find it more useful than searching the 'map'
