Doing some scouting, if you walk through the foyer of the Sebel and out to Viaduct Harbour you will find yourself at the restaurant's entrance.

Seems there a major Turf Horse racing event at Ellerslie today - may explain the high accommodation costs.

Also, the area around here was jumping earlier - the 4.8K PAX "Ovation Of The Seas" has recently departed. There a cruise liner "Viking Orion" in port (only 980 PAX).
