Well on my QF1500 I scoffed everything on the whY lunch menu. A cookie biscuit

I’m not sure where you’re going to fit anything in from the FLounge menu?? You must be full as a goog!!

Sorry departed lounge just after 9. Now arrived in akl on way to cbd.

The slow cooked lamb
Beef brisket

The bao was small
The dumplings had a pretty decent chilli kick
Salt & pepper squid decent

Pavlova

We thought the Penfolds Max Shiraz was too young (2022)

Hallets Black clay was great
Penfolds max Cabernet Sauvignon

both good wines

Sydney security absolutely awful. All the new gear in not getting stuff out of your bags is obviated by the fact you’re waiting about 10 minutes in a queue-let just to get to the front of the belt - and that’s after the long queue just to get into the security area.

Just snagged the last table to have lunch in the F lounge. Many tables to occupied with people on their laptops not eating.

4-digit for me this morning. And I’m having a nice big lunch in anticipation of this evening‘s ‘dinner’ flight. Lunch will not include the salt and pepper squid nor the Pavlova.

We were on QF3 so already here in AKL by then!

In MEL First now and it's really busy. The QF21 DFW flight is due to board in about ¾ hour, so it should quieten down somewhat.

Meanwhile I'm at working at a desk ...

Many tables to occupied with people on their laptops not eating.

This!! Hate when people do this. When you are done with your meal, please move to one of the couches so that those that are waiting to eat can get tables. I noticed this as a trend with the morning departures a lot - as most people are working half-days until boarding (say around 1230h).
