Have just received this offer also, and I'll leave my rumblings for later..

I seem to recall in the past, that SC promotions like the Double SC offers didn't require new purchases, but just travel between certain dates? is my memory failing me?

Always for new purchases ime.

I received a 50% SC offer this morning to be booked between 14 January 2016 and 4 February 2016. That's the longest I've ever had to make a booking with the offer; it is usually only a week. I've now received some sort of % SC offer each year since 2011, some at different times of the year and have had it twice in a year in a couple of instances. I've already re-qualified for WP this year and my anniversary is 28th Feb so I'm still mystified by how/why this happens.

Just when I least expect it, I've just checked my email and have received a bonus 50% status credit offer.
The booking window Is better than usual, with a booking window great than one week.
Valid for bookings made 14th January - 4th February, flights taken 14th January - 14th April 2016.

I Wasn't planning on making any more flight bookings for the next few months but this offer has certainly got me thinking that these opportunities only come up IME one once a year.ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1452748203.037715.jpg

Yep received the same offer. Shame I've already booked and paid for a substantial trip within exactly the timeframe for making a new booking.

retire from AFF,work, life in general? Or just Afghanistan ?
Retire from Afghanistan and work, often appealing, but not when I consider the mortgage.
Life and AFF are both appealing things. Not about to retire from them!:D

Cheers skip

Got the 50% SC offer today for travel until 13 May, have a week to arrange bookings. Pity we are no longer going to UK in May :( as I may struggle to get to WP this year.

I haven't received a bonus SC offer in years, one would be much appreciated this year to help requalify. I'm off to wait patiently.

The shame is, if I got this weeks' offer with an extended booking window instead of last week's, I might actually have been able to use it.

I just got the offer this morning also - I think I will be able to book 1 flight....

In my case I have already maintained my current status and the offer won't help me to achieve higher status - but I guess it is a few more points towards LTG

Mrscove got one so I booked her on a Qantas special on business class to the US out of Sydney.

same for me but LTG is now just over 1200SC away

Amazing in my inbox sits the same offer about a month and a half out from my anniversary date. So ....... Some creative planning required to earn another 2200 to achieve WP1 ....... How to do this effectively.......hmmmmmm

Mrscove is very tinny when it comes to QF offers. She reciprocates by being very supportive of Qantas.

I will be just under 2000SC away after my next flight - that's less than my average annual earn over the last 3-4 years, but this coming year is going to be quiet flying wise so I don't think I will make it in 2016

Received the offer also.

Tempting but I am a little far from retaining WP to consider a status run at this stage ...

Who knew that waiting so patiently would work? I'd actually given up hope but there it was this morning. Now to convince MrNatalie that I NEED to go somewhere :)

Nothing here, would be very useful as soon to book another RTW trip...... :-(
