Another 50% SC promo

Received my offer 2 days ago. In Bali so I hope the hotel's WIFI holds out.

I have a question for the more experienced here: if I book more than one itinerary in the next couple of days for travel within the timeframe, will I get double SCs for each itinerary or just the first one.

Thanks in advance

In general, for everything that books within the time frame. I've not heard of a limit on the number of bookings, but nothing would surprise me.

You will not receive double SCs but 50% bonus - I've made 2 separate one-way bookings for a return trip and was credited bonus SCs for both.

That depends on the offer. I've assumed that they have a double SC offer and have just posted in the wrong thread. Especially considering this thread is about an offer that finished in December.

I got a 50% status credit offer today, but the wording seems to suggest it only works for one booking. Does anyone know if this is the case? RedRoo?

I just read it again and picked up the line "50% more Status Credits for every eligible Qantas flight[SUP]^[/SUP]booked and travelled during the promotional period" Crisis averted!

Yeah I got this one today (first bonus SC offer with QF ever for me woo!) and I first thought it was only for a single booking, then saw the conflicting message. When I registered it seemed to indicate it was for anything booked/flown during the promo period. I have at least 2 flights I want to book (and might find another) so this works for me :)

I received this this morning as well! Time to book my end of year flights! Woohoo

I'm stoked about this as well - over 20 years of being PS and never hitting SG, it looks like I'm going to make it once the bonus SC hits my account - WOOHOO! :D

Likewise, but first year as PS after missing out by 10 status credits last year, and flights I've been wanting to book for a couple of weeks now, it's time to actually book them.

I assume that when you're booking the flight the Qantas SC earn rate on the flights doesn't include the 50% bonus offer? So if offered 300 SC at time of booking, then I should earn 450 SC right?

Correct.
.....

Hopefully I get this offer from Qantas soon, as I'm about to book a pretty big amount of travel after an 18 month lull. I'm at a point where I'm able to switch to another FF scheme and while I like Qantas, I like good value more.

(I almost bought $15k worth of flights on their book-two sale, until I realised the offer only saved a few hundred dollars...)

To be eligible for the offer do I have to book it myself or can I go through a travel agent that might have a good deal this week?

In the * section of my offer, it reads
"Flights can be booked via qantas.com, a travel agent or Contact Centres"

Thanks for that. I ended up booking it myself.

So I've booked this trip with the following layovers
MEL - SYD - HKG - PVG
PVG - HKG
HKG - BNE - MEL

Which nets me a nice 460 SC for $4,411. HKG - PVG is with Dragon air, and PVG to HKG is with Cathay Pacific, so if I've calculate this correctly I will get bonus sc's for 340 of the status credits as other airlines in J only net 60 SC.

So I THINK I will end up with 630 SC which will put me about 400 SC away from hitting WP

Any suggestion for 400 SC worth of status credits, from MEL.

My offer came last week, but it is for a much shorter period - for new bookings made between 11 September 2015 and 2 October 2015 - for travel between 11 September 2015 and 11 December 2015. SO ... yes, they are targetted! AND ... something makes a difference to how generous the offer is.

My anniversary is 30 Nov and I'm at 530 SCs ... it's been a lean year and it doesn't look like I'll requalify as WP! On current plans, I should have 690 SCs by 30 Nov and I assume this means I'll drop back to SG.

I'd need another 510 SCs to requal WP ... or 340 SCs with the double SC offer. Any advice on the cheapest way to get 340 SCs?

Didn't get the offer (although I've had one before). Currently sitting on 0 SC's with new year starting 1 Sept. I guess they don't want me to be increasing my flying on Qantas metal. I could put more cash Qantas' way, but why should I?

Currently in UK, having travelled here in C class on TG and will be returning on UL/TG. If QF made it more worth my while, they might get my business, but alas... The way things are I will continue to give my preference to Star Alliance carriers for international travel as I'm lifetime Star Gold.

I received a similar 50% SC offer. 3 Classic redemptions (1 QF 2 EK) but 0 SCs this year. Currently crediting to BA.

What is the subject line of the email people receive for the offer (verbatim please, so that I can search in my deleted emails)? I usually just delete marketing emails from Qantas (does anyone buy a round of golf through Qantas web site? really?).
