Just heard a steam train whistle from my home in Epping, just about the time the BAM trip was scheduled to go through. I had forgotten about this trip, and how much I would have loved to go until then. Very jealous.

Add me to the jealous list. I read about the trip last year but couldn't go. Really wanted to join this year. Sadly (and my own damn fault), I didn't check the site to see the dates. Hope all involved had a lovely trip and hopefully there will be another opportunity.

We're back and dispersed. The carriages have headed off to sleep for the night, and 5917 is taking a well earned rest before the fully-laden journey to Kiama in the morning.

Mr BAM and his gnomes did the most spectacular job; words (and even pix) aren't enough to describe the day. But no doubt we'll try. Well done Matt!
