But one thing I'd always wanted to do, is to visit a live volcano - but a little hesitant after the White Island incident

What are the approximate price points for 5✵ India

India's one of those place I never thought I'd go to!

Relatively speaking I'd say 5* is quite affordable - I stayed at two Taj properties for around $300/night, same with a couple of boutique places in Bikaner and Jaisalmer.

I know a fella who is a pilot for the Mongolian airline. Failed landings 3 times...just joking. He trained with Bill Whitworth so should have excellent all-round skills.
