Hi all, seeking some advice. I opened an ANZ Frequent Flyer Black in September. I thought the last one I held was more than 12 months ago, but I have now realised it was within the 12 months. I met the $5,000 spend last month, but the bonus points and annual fee credit didn’t come through. I’m guessing that these are likely not to come through given I didn’t wait for the 12 month cooling off period?
Ended up speaking to a ANZ employee through the app. They said I was eligible, so fingers crossed it goes through. I think I was a few months off completing the cooling off period. How much did you miss out by? Can always raise a complaint and see what they do.

Contact via the chat and they can confirm when you will receive any bonus. Mine took 2 statements until it came through..While waiting for the points and dollar credit, I paid the balance off as I'd started spending on another card, but I didn't realise the dollar credit back was only against the purchases balance, so there was no credit back when the statement came through.
Anyone know if I push some spending through at this point will it still credit back?
Didnt realise that, but in reality expected, they can’t put you into credit. yep, spend a bit more and the credit will come into play. While waiting for the points and dollar credit, I paid the balance off as I'd started spending on another card, but I didn't realise the dollar credit back was only against the purchases balance, so there was no credit back when the statement came through.

How long after you supplied payslips etc did they approve you?I've had the card twice. Last applied in November and got the same email. Next day got the email asking for payslips, etc.

Same experience here. Got the $100 cashback today. In web app, I can see my bonus points will be awarded with the next statement.I have a ANZ Qantas Platinum card (not the black version), which awards 75k bonus QFF points after $2.5k of eligible spend and a $295 annual fee plus a $100 cashback.
This is the one I have -

I've met the minimum spend and have got my $100 cashback (I paid it off early and now I've got a $100 surplus), but haven't yet got the points.
I assume that the points will be awarded / land once the latest statement is issued (due to be in a few days).
Just surprised that the cashback was awarded before the statement period ends / statement is issued - I would have thought that the cashback and points would be awarded at the same time when a statement is issued. Not complaining but just an observation.
Once I get the points and spend the $100 to make the balance back down to $0, I'll be closing the card.
