When do they charge the annual fee? Is it at the point of first purchase or at the end of the first billing cycle? Thanks

Yes, I have experienced a delay this year. Reached the spend requirement last statment, have not yet seen the 90,000 points or card credit.Has anyone experienced a delay in receiving the 90,000 bonus points on this card?
I easily reached the spend requirement in the first month. Its now been a week with no bonus points yet.

Pretty average imo.The offer on this card is pretty good at the moment. 130,000 bonus Qantas points (90,000 if you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months and another 40,000 points if you keep the card for a second year), and $200 back.

Pretty average imo.
The 40K for $425 (second year AF) is particularly poor -- you're paying over 1c per point!!
There are very few cards with 90k in points on any program in the first year. This is a new era, we all need to get use to the new offers. IMO this isn't a bad none, although I would keep churning at 364 days, like I just did within the rewards black, which gave me nothing in YR2Pretty average imo.

IMO the 90,000 for $225 is pretty good at the moment but the second year is not of any interest to me. Burn and churn.
There is nothing special about this offer for the Black card. The deal for the first year has been around for months and months: ANZ Frequent Flyer Black Credit Card: 90,000 Qantas Points & $200 Back ($5,000 Spend in First 3 Months, $425 Annual Fee) @ ANZThere are very few cards with 90k in points on any program in the first year. - 2ppd spentWhy on earth would you keep it for 364 days?
ANZ saw on my payslip that I was on parental leave. He seemed confounded that a father (gasp) got 18 weeks paid leave. He scarcely believed me - in fact I think he didn't. He even demanded I get a letter from HR specifying that I would return to work after my paid leave. The audacity...FYI have had a call from the agent yesterday regarding having 3 months of payslips for one application - i think this is by far the most info that is required for a cc application..
ANZ have always sucked. It’s quite impressive how much random stuff they want. I suspect that they make it up as they go along as they hire people who have no idea.
Has anyone every had success getting a refund on a closed credit card? I am getting a refund as a hotel is closing down for which I had made a prepayment for and the lady on the phone is saying that they do not accept credit payments/refunds once the card is closed.
