I took up the offer in mid-March and spent the $2,500 earlier this month. I just received the 75,000 bonus points this week and am now thinking of closing it to apply for another credit card with Suncorp offering 100K bonus points with $3k spend.

The Suncorp offer is 100k Suncorp points > not Qantas points, I believe?

Card approved.
Still waiting for my application from February. Never seen anything like it.

Even complaints don't work well (there's an escalation team that deal with them but still say they can't contact CC processing or check status directly). Their processing centre is still a shambles after all this time.

was approved this monday and card already received and put to a good use
also just realised last night that i applied for a wrong offer of 60k, there's probably no way out now since the card has been activated?

I think you'd need to have used the right link to get the 75000.

i've checked the AFF but somehow missed this thread
i dont't do this very often, hence the rookie mistake

havent re-registered for the online banking yet, is everyone reusing their old CRN's or get a new one every time? i've noticed my old one is disabled

Were people asked for payslips when they signed up (either online or requested over the phone / email)?

I'm not working but am starting a well-paying job in a week. My last payslips were from outside the country, late last year. Therefore I imagine they won't be accepted. I have a number of expenses that I am putting off until I can get this card but if I'm going to be asked for payslips I'll need to wait a month or so but that means putting of some purchases that would be helpful sooner rather than later!

Yes I had to but can you provide your employment contract instead?

You will be required to substantiate your income.

According to Dr Ralph, it sounds like this won't work.

Cheers. Do you know how many payslips or months? I can't see it mentioned on the page.
I provided my 3 most recent payslips. I got a call from them asking for my last 6 months of bank statements as well.

i was asked for only 1 payslip (provided 2 anyway just in case) and 3 months worth of bank statements

the inconsistency is consistent!

I was asked for 1 payslip showing 3 months of YTD income (or additional payslips otherwise). Our payslips are only month by month, so had to provide 3 payslips to get the 3 months they were after.

Applied Friday evening. Waiting for further info now.

What's the Suncorp offer? Is there a thread for it?
