Wonder why when you go to the ANZ website, and click on cards to see everything they have on offer, this one doesn't come up ? Is it a dodgy link ? The URL looks legit to me, but I'm a bit sceptical. Has anyone applied through the link I provided and had it successfully process ?
Its not appearing on the Qantas.com/cards website, or through the ANZ website and searched cards. The ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum offer on both sites is for 50,000 points.
Also I notice the link above, doesn't have any of the ANZ website header links. Perhaps its a dud/expired link, which might go towards explaining why the confirmation email never came, and its not in their systems.

Targeted or exclusive offers are very common; they might be part of a specific marketing campaign, or targeting specific customers, or partnering with someone as an 'exclusive' offer - hence why some 'exclusive' offers are hidden away unless you have the direct link

Obi, can you suggest which online portals you're referring to please?

Yak Pay, Reward Pay, Easy Bill Pay

You can pay your council rates, insurances and ATO tax bills with these and you'll get credit card points. They all attract a surcharge but can still be worth it if you're chasing a big bonus.

We finally had our card approved today - we actually applied via point hacks link in mid-march but got a bit distracted in interim and also was impossible to call anz to sort their final details request --- I assume that since we applied before the 24 March deadline, we should still be eligible for original offer of 75000 bonus points and believe minimum spend for bonus is 3 months after activating card?

Should be but given the time that has elapsed I think you'd be best trying to contact someone at ANZ to double check & make sure the offer is properly applied to your account.

After activating card? I haven't specifically looked at the terms of the ANZ offer, but the 'after' part is not universal between card offerers.

I'd definitely be checking this and getting it stated in writing just in case you need to fight for the points at a later stage.

Thanks - as soon as I posted the comment, I thought to myself, I'm really going to have to give ANZ a call and make sure the offer is properly applied AND that bonus offer period is also clear in terms of minimum spend! (and just as importantly that I get a fee free first year!). Serves me right for getting so distracted after applying for a card.

Has anyone received the 75,000 points yet?
I spent the $2500 before the 3 month anniversary and it hasn't appeared in my account or in my ANZ statement for bonus points.

Spending was hit just after 2nd statement and the points rolled in on the 3rd statement, this was probably a couple of weeks ago.

I took up the offer in mid-March and spent the $2,500 within days. I just received my 75,000 points this week.

Wondering if anyone signed up to this offer late June and got approved ?
Thinking of trying this one to get 15000 points more than their usual offer.

I applied via this link today:

At the end of the process got an application number and a message indicating:

'We've sent an email to xx_xx_xx_XX with your application details and instructions.'

But so far no email has been received.

No where in the process did it ask for proof of income.

I called the generic 13 22 73 number (didn't write down the 1300 or 1800 that came up together with the reference number to call regarding the application). The guy who answered the generic number just asked me to send an email to [email protected] - and tell them via email. He wouldn't give me the number, as he said they are not taking calls due to Covid-19. I've sent an email, but haven't even received an auto-response. I've checked junk/spam - nothing there.
Does anyone have the confirmation email, with a phone number they can provide ?

Cheers

@PlutekPlutek what was the final outcome with this for you? Seems same has now happened to me.

To update this. I got an email and a phone call from ANZ today. Requested documents have now been provided.

Requested documents were emailed to: [email protected]

I took up the offer in mid-March and spent the $2,500 earlier this month. I just received the 75,000 bonus points this week and am now thinking of closing it to apply for another credit card with Suncorp offering 100K bonus points with $3k spend.

What's the Suncorp offer? Is there a thread for it? Is this another front for Citibank?

What's the Suncorp offer?

I didn't notice the fine print until now - This offer is only available to Suncorp Group customers who received a personalised customer e-newsletter issued June-August 2020.

Probably the most efficient offers right now, maximum bonus with minimal annual fee, are the Amplify cards (St George, Bank of Melbourne, Bank SA) with 80,000 points on sign up and $139 annual fee. But for my part, I'm thinking of putting my spending over the next few months on my primary card, the Qantas Premier Platinum; before looking for another sign up offer - the 120,000 sign up bonus is long gone but at least I get reasonable monthly spend with 2 points per $ spent on Qantas products.

I don't know what 'efficient' means, but this offer is currently 75,000 points for $0. Free points are now extremely RARE.
