But ANZ can pull this offer at anytime ..... Or if not many takers, they may reduce the spending requirement to say $500 for 3 months (purely my speculation only)!
Gah! My expiry is 31 March!
I have just delved into the filing cabinet and am looking at a letter dated 14 January 2015 (Today )

I just did something, dumb or not I did it. Feel free to tell me if it was stupid, I probably should have asked ya'll about it over the weekend anyway
So early last week I applied for this card when it was 75,000/$7,500 (I'm on the hunt for a card to replace my Virgin Money Velocity 1pt/$). The day I received my approval sms this new 75,000/$2,500 was released. I received my card today and called ANZ to ask if there was anything they could do and they said flat out NO, so I asked them to cancel my un-activated card. They said if I were to reapply I would be ineligible for the new offer because I would be flagged as a pre-existing customer - I cancelled anyway
Last year I applied for an AMEX for 50,000 points and 1 week later that same card came with 100,000 points - I'm still dirty about that (lol)
So yeah, I copped a credit check and gave up the card, that's a bit dumb, ai?
Well, you did make your point to that one service rep.
...That is not worth it. ..
i think exceladdict was poking fun at me, like, well i sure showed her! i'll just add this to the list of stories that starts with 'hey, guess what i did...'
oh i know, i giggledWith no malice intended
I assume if my wife is a supplementary cardholder to me she can apply and get the bonus? I realise this has probably been discussed before, but can't detail in relation this specific offer.
