Does anyone know the qf point and SC earn rates on this flight. No listed in the calculator or the tables on the qff website.

Not sure that theyre actually using qsuites to ADL anymore. I have flights in Sept/oct and they both show the seat map in business as 2-2-2 rather than the 1-2-1 you see with qsuites

I'm looking in November and as far as I can tell, its QS (and the web site still says that). But I'll double check!! Fortunately from HBA I get a choice of ADL, SYD and MEL.

The Adelaide flights are Q suites but now on a 777. I'll post pics next Weds - the flight comes from Auckland to Adelaide and the Adl - Doha flight is completely full! Seat map on QR app states Q Suites. Rear facing here we come. Assuming it doesn't get subbed out of course.....

If you get the chance, ask for any goss from the crew about what's happening with QR (I don't mean I suspect anything).

I don't think the 777 has the bar, though, does it? That was a better feature than the showers in EK First I reckon. You could really while away an hour or two chatting to various people.

I don't think so. Being an overnight flight we never used it. But we have a 380 from Doha to LHR, during the day, so watch this space

I look forward to hearing what you get. I originally booked last Nov and my seatmap showed Qsuites but after Qatar changed the flight schedule and Qantas misplaced my reward flights, they now show this Adl-Doh

sigh....i booked an ADL-DOH flight in October assuming it would be Qsuite (as their website says this sector is) only to find the seat map is showing the old 2-2-2 config. Any chance there could be an equipment swap to a Qsuite flight?

If you booked direct with Qatar they can change it. Now I have to go check mine again.

Geez. Panic. Got the message 'accept changes or cancel for refund'. Gulp. Took ages to load but all it was is a 5 minute change to departure from Doha. Q Suite still sticking. So far. .

unfortunately it was a rewards booking via Qantas so i'm out of luck

I think our return flight just changed. Can't select seats although I selected them months ago. This changed in the last couple of hours.

In terms of the ADL-DOH service am I right in saying you get lounge access to the QC, however given it closes at 7pm ahead of the 10.20pm departure, Qatar essentially doesn't provide lounge access for this flight? Thanks

Correct currently.
As more flights return I’d expect the lounge hours to also expand

Thanks, thought I was missing something as I've not encountered an airport with such a minimal amount of operating facilities (can't even get water as the fountains are shut off due to covid, not that that seems to be an issue anywhere else I've been).

Last QF flight out is at 1925 currently so unless QR pay a decent fee to QF then they are not going to keep the lounge open. Some later QF flights are on the cards in the coming months though so lounge hours should be extended

My qatar flight in Sept has a departure time of 20:20. Im guessing that theyre changing their departure time in the next few months.
