Okay, they have the second best 11th wicket score by an Australian team - beat the next best 11th wicket by an Australian team of 114 (Gillespie & McGrath) and 128 to beat the record (made back in 1927). They are on 125

They've got that record now. I agree, centuries from both and record allcomers 152 for 10th wicket would be nice. Agar on 80 and well ahead of Hughes on 66.

Whoops, realised I'm on delay by 6 mins...woo hoo, up to 86 - 10 to go for the highest score by a number 11

150 partnership and just 2 away from the record!! Agar on 88

Now equal...

Yes, they have it - lucky stroke! Agar now in his 90's

Can't go to bed now. Have to wait to see the outcome

Bugger! Out for 98. So sorry not to see him get his century. Still a standing ovation from Trent Bridge crowd.

Not a bad Test average :D

Lead by 65 - who would have thought :o

Now can we put any pressure on the Pommie batsman??

It was both a shame and a relief he didn't get his century. He really deserved that, and it certainly seemed he took risks in that last over, as predicted.

So, will I be watching Agar next week at Lord's?
Will he be in the team for his bowling or his batting?
Can't wait to try Cathay J next Thursday.

Well I am sure I hold the record for the longest time at the crease in the Maitland competition for a duck.3.5 hours. Was playing in a higher grade than usual so match over 2 Saturday afternoons.First afternoon we were skittled for 11 and the opposition scored 100 plus so we had to defend against the outright the second Saturday.I got out on the last ball of the day.Mind you I had farmed the strike with the judicious use of the pad outside the line of leg stump.

PS I opened the innings.

So back watching it tonight with the kids in bed asleep by 7.30pm, the wife across the road with a neighbour cooking cakes and me in front of the cricket with a John Duval red - does life get better.

Well it has - we've got some wickets. Great to see Agar get his first wicket - even better to get the English captain, caught by his opposing captain.

So now effectively 4/100. Need to keep getting wickets - although the wicket is dry and crumbling, it's not a bad batting track.

Yes!! Bairstow out for 15. Agar has 2 wickets now :D. 5/109 effectively. Game on

Yes! Prior out for 31, so the Poms now really 6/153. Nice to see Siddle get something for his hard work.

Bell is the last recognised batsman, on 47. Hope we can get them out with less than 200 to chase.

Bed time for me

Still in bed, haven't seen replays, but reading all about Broad-edge-gate.

From what I've read, obvious edge, umpire unmoved, Aussies used all their reviews. Hotspot showed nothing (so I read). Everyone saying he should have walked, well, all the Aussie comments, equally as many saying an Aussie wouldn't have walked. That I'd believe.

Considering Agar was stumped at 10 and Trott wasn't out, England is still lacking a freebie. At the very least, it's all fair.

Was reading Haddin was so furious after the not out he was talking to the umpire and missed an edge off Bell that went for 4.

Can't wait to see a replay though.

Short answer no.
Englands attack with Swann and Anderson is probably the best in the world , I would loved to be proved wrong though!
