First 11 overs negotiated well but Anderson's much feared reverse swing is starting

As I head to rest 0-70, 245 to go and nearly 5 sessions to do it ...

Blow me down with feather.

Nailing down Englands coffin tight.

Ok Ian Botham has lost all credibility saying 70% of men suffer from colour blindness.

Big night in the cricket and the tour. And I have an early flight in the morning.

Re: The totally off-topic thread

I'm not. But am getting ready for bed. I need my handsome sleep. ;)

You are not a real Australian, well everyone back to AFF as lunch has been called with Australia needing 20 runs to win with 1 wicket in hand.

Re: The totally off-topic thread

DRS should be conclusive in my opinion if you give somebody out. A number of decisions for both teams IMO were dodgy. DRS should be like the umpire, they have to be 100% sure, no doubt.

I certainly didn't expect England to perform, but if Haddin honestly didn't think he'd hit that, maybe he now understands how Broad felt :p

Was busy doing all the jobs around the house and wasn't able to post here - but I was watching it!!

Really disappointed that we got so close but couldn't win it - would have really deflated the Poms.

Averages for the Test are interesting:

Watson 29.5, Rogers 34, Cowan 7, Clarke 12.5, Smith 35, Hughes 40.5, Haddin 36, Siddle 6, Starc 0.5, Pattinson 13.5, Agar 61

Batsmen have failed in the First Test, leaving most of the work for the middle order and bowlers.

Why was Cowan picked again???

I leave HK tomorrow for the UK with tickets for the 3rd Test at Old Trafford at least feeling like we will give it a shot !!
