Go Lehman.
Good to see Australia doing well but some things do not make sense.

Case in point was there any need for Haddin to carry on after being given not out when Stokes overstepped the mark?

A lot of the comments from people in the know are the Australians should not be chirping like this as they have now scored more wins this year than Zimbabwe and are even with Bangladesh. Make of it what you will.

Without raising racial issues, how could CA have ever thought that a South African coach could be good for Australian test cricketers?

Watson's off the cuff response when asked on TV news what he thought of English cricketers being out in the bar till 3am before the test was "I guess they must have got their homework in on time so they were allowed out.". Brilliant! Shows the feeling remaining in the team after the MA period. Go Lehman.
I think you have raised racial issues

Not everyone is a good coach. Most people are not test quality players. Neither has anything to do with racial origins.

To be fair to the real TMA, I think that the cultural differences between south Africa and Australia are a world apart and this has nothing to do with race. Would a British coach for Australia at this particular time in the team have been any better? I don't think so. Australia has come off the boil for a number of reasons and Clarke is a very different character to other captains. I was never a fan of Ponting. Clarke didn't seem to want to do some of the traditional things that past captains did. There was some team "stuff" missing. Lehman is very much a team player and I think he's got that back on track. It just needed a unique style of character to do that.

I believe on this occasion you have used an incorrect spelling of Lehmann's surname.

Good assessment. There is definitely something different. The confidence is back although they could lose the arrogance. From memory Lehmann was part of the Australian team when their arrogance was sky high.

I do think though that Ponting was a good captain. He did inherit the team at the wrong time.

That was a brilliant catch from Warner to get Carberry….. the Aussies are really switched on for this series.

Mitch Johnson is on fire... 3 wickets in his last over, including 2 of his last 2 balls - Hatrick ball at the beginning of his next over. England 7 down

Well he missed out on a hat-trick but just took his fifth wicket of the innings... England eight down now
