ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

Think I may have found a way to pay ATO with CC without paying the surcharge. Need to do a test over the next couple of days but hopefully it works it may also be bank specific.

If it works I have over $100k to pay them in 2 weeks time.
The electronic holy grail???

I put lots of spending through it. Substantial Council rates ( $ 60 K pa), Land Tax, Tax each month all my business expenses

 - my bolding above.

I have just obtained a WQEDRCC and it excludes points earn on business expenses (Item 1 on the 'Things you should know' of the brief guide).

Paypal is NOW only Telstra not ATO.( happy to be proven wrong ;)
Whats this JASA seat "rumour" May 18th in a little more detail please.....i.e is it cannot get Business class seats with QFF points?

I'm in the same boat, so if it works and you're willing to share the info, please add my name to the list for PMs!

So I am guessing there no more cards that will continue to offer 1 for 1 that you can put through as much as you like with ato (50k+ per month), eg. like Citibank used to anymore? Are there any with cap limits that offer 1 for 1 with ato? Bankwest from what I read previously maybe?

HSBC and Woolies EDRCC have uncapped 1 for 1.
BankWest is capped at 200k that I have used.

Thanks Cove.

Can you hit up the HSBC card with large ATO amounts or do you mean it's the same card as the HSBC issued Woolies EDRCC?

Might apply for BankWest, 200k points is nothing to sneeze at.

HSBC card is a separate card.
Always try to be fair as ATO transactions at 0.48% are a real loser.
I give Woolies a wide range of stuff but being warped I do use the card the card to buy Coles and Woolies 5% off gift cards and I do my real shopping on it at a real fruit shop so I like them to see that.
i have almost completed my Amex Ultimate run on ATO payments as that ends on July 21st.
