The points from CBA Diamond I've always thought lovely.
I don't suppose there's a way to get points for paying staff??
if you find out let me know. i think it's a bit like SG payents, sort of sacred. haven't managed to work out how to do that yet either

Indeed thats the issue, they are unlike to be accepters of credit cards (though some may be) so the issue is they need to be a merchant. But most woudlnt be keen because there would be a cost to them.I suppose if your employees asked to be paid by PayPal you could...
As I said the second 15% surcharge can be paid personally as it is a secondary levy where a taxpayer has a taxable income of $300,000 or more so it is a special situation and the forms you receive give you the choice of paying it personally or out of the superfund. I chose to pay that on a credit card and leave the superfund to keep growing so yes we paid it personally.

You could gross the amount up so you effectively pay the fees, or you can make payments to "friends or family" by credit card and pay the fees yourself.
I don't imagine many employees are interested in receiving funds by Paypal, but family members who work for the business and enjoy the benefits of the points could be persuaded I imagine.
Have you all seen the Australian 20 cent coin issued in 2010 with the writing " The Australian Taxation Office Centenary 2010" and across the top "Working For All Australians".
I was lost for words.
HSBC is changing the points earn rate on ATO for Qantas FF to match up with Woolies so from August 1st it will be a point per dollar for $2500 and then half a point after that.
i just happen to have a number of ATO bills that are due later on in July so I may give HSBC a bigger share.

Hi all, Nizar kindly confirmed for me in another thread that ANZ Frequent Flyer Black is still ok for ATO payments, just wondering if it is the same with the ANZ FF Platinum? Also does paying ATO contribute towards minimum spend requirements?
Thanks
