ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

The other strange thing is I cannot transfer more than $50,000 into that credit card as there is a limit.
cove TBMK Westpac also have 50K max limit inward trsfrs on CCs - I exp this with both Krisflyer and Black cards - not that it was any biggie with 50K max on ATO pmts so just repeat ea day.

Is that for BPay CE? I've found they've had a $50k limit per BPay in which case I'd just do another one on the same day if I needed to pay more.

The limit is now 20 million on the ATO portal CE. The minimum is 10 bucks and I would like to pay in tens.

Yeah but 20mil no value if you can only get 50K into card daily - just so much easier 50 50 50 50 - even a simpleton like me can keep track of it that way.

Have activated World CC so with the demise of my Q CC I will be ok for Qantas points. Citi US keeps us both in AA miles quite cheaply. Westpac Plat Kris Flyer Amex gets us Kris Miles and Citi Prestige works a treat on most of our non ATO expenses for Kris or Velocity and Qantas points for Mrscove.
All ok in frequent flyer land in November.

The shock that late Friday BPays to Q did not turn up until just after midnight( Tuesday morning) on both accounts has now passed. A point a dollar on ATO at 0.54% has been a favourite but it ends on November 30th.
Now that is really good as we are flying on that last day for a work trip to the US. Kris Miles are really good.

We were out socially and I heard that the person sitting beside me was over a million dollars behind
I seem to remember the saying in the Christopher Skase days: "if you owe the Bank $100,000 you have a problem; if you owe the bank a million dollars, the Bank has a problem."

I wonder if it works like that with the ATO.

It isn't as easy as it was in the Skase days.
Banks ask to see the running ATO account and don't lend new money to ATO defaulters.
The ATO regularly take wind up actions on company defaulters.

Non ato question, but are there any 1 for 1 qff earn for normal (non-ato) purchases after Q dies?
Ato qff is down to Wpack Ax and World M for me.

The US CC earning AA miles is like getting a QF point per dollar seeing you get them today at 0.73 and then those miles can go 36,000 divided by 25,000 for a business class seat PER-SYD. That is all I can see now that can run "like a point a dollar". Of course AA miles can be used internationally but if all else fails a domestic ride is very pleasant on a QF A330 in a Suite.

The QF Amex Discovery is the workhorse for many people on this forum. Zero dollar annual fee and free supp cards which is very useful for the shop small promo. Most of the house bills that only take Visa/MC can be circumvented by linking your Paypal to your Amex card and paying via Postbillpay. For me, their is only two bills that can't circumvented with Paypal/Postbillpay.

A lot of cards don't pay for Bpay bill payments. Does postbillpay fall into that category?

I can't be certain but I believe the discovery CC still works for ATO portal, but the higher surcharge will put most off.

Shifty I have my son testing St George so I will know in a couple of weeks how that has gone. I think it was 0.825 rather than one for one and I believe it can provide Kris Miles which would be better for his overseas travel. He is away in the US at the moment and we are heading there for work shortly.
I have 2 World cards for Qantas points now which are 0.66 per dollar now that I have my own one. This card used to be a one for one but was detuned recently.
Qudos finishes on 30/11/2016.

Isn't it 0.75 for amplify signature St George? Still more than the western variety I guess.
