ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

I emailed Only1 support and got a reply. The card issuer has put the ATO on the restricted merchants list unfortunately. Bad for them as their sales figures are going to drop...
 
put some through the dragon and it went through then another line saying reversal popped up very soon after.... sigh....
 
My latest dragon and world have been processed. I used 3 different cards to share the love around. Being in California did not pose a problem thanks to the internet. I did multiple account quarterlies and no issues.
 
Tested just now: Vanilla gift card works for ATO Payment.
Card value $250 + $7.50 fees ( paid using Platinum Edge - hopefully earning 3MR /$1 )
 
These ones you can grab from places like OW and used to be on offer at HN. I have only ever seen very small supplies of these on offer at any one time
 
my payment on the dragon got reversed but the cc fee did not. so not sure about the try and try again motto.

I paid mine about a week ago and it went through,did you try again and if so how long after was it reversed. I certainly don't want to see a reversal over a week later or after due date.
 
Dealing with a $20,000 credit limit on one CC is quite painful compared with the two Westpac cards that had combined $163,000 limits.i am missing them already after less than a fortnight.
 
Sorry to provoke unnecessary angst. Just wanted to see if anyone got reversed. key points in my recent experience.
1. putting 5 figure payments through every 2nd day
2. the reversal was within 30 seconds? a manual review/reversal did not seem possible in that time frame
3. ATO fees not refunded
4. a few days later. reversal.... got reversed... yea.. i dont konw....

"Dragon" card is sensitive for ATO payments, bank can easily pick up it is for business use. Last year there was a report from member card got cancelled due to ato payments, and points forfeited. 5 figure payments is a lot - I am pretty sure Bank pick it up by now , instead of taxman
