Amex Ultimate, Citi Prestige, Qudos, Woolies, Westpac Kris Amex were cards that ran hard and then stopped working properly. Have never added that lot up as far as ATO points earn but I used to have an Amex account manager. I did get a call from both Westpac and Citi. Citi stiffed us on about 250,000 points but I got them back with a bonus transfer to VA.
We pay the fiscal fiend plenty and still no thank you messages.

The US credit cards stopped too when the fee was raised on processing. I enjoyed using those cards
too.

RP and others have been created (may be fizzling) in this time, but if you have a large enough bill RP with the right card and TD benefits is still worth using.

No card ever had the OMG factor that WKF Amex had in its early days with 2 x pts - it was like ‘needing a shovel to bury the cash’ times - pts running out our ears.

Yes that Westpac Kris Flyer one was my second love CE. The love in stopped about a year ago when Westpac stopped Amex version of that card.

Now you have me confused CE about my first, second and third love. Yes Fremantle Dockers this week were stunning, Then there was that softly spoken gal at the ATO who felt I had dumped her. I think that one is just after the money. Then there is the naked lady at the top of the staircase who watches everything and is quite bronzed.

I have firmed up on BankWest World to handle the ATO in early May seeing the stop is May21st. We both have lots of QF points and they are harder to redeem than SQ Kris Miles but it is a last hurrah for points earn on ATO.

Are you considering pre-paying some ATO? I am thinking NO but Mrscove still has more QF points than me....
Don’t really need them but there is a certain thrill of the chase concept with BankWest fizzling out shortly.

A bit OT. As I paid some ATO last week and I’m o/s soon I moved some $$ around last week just before Easter. Over Easter all those transfers took 5 days. Do banks still turn everything off over Easter like they used to in 1960s?

Yep, payments after 6 pm are not processed till the next business day; they do however take the money out of your account instantly. Next Business Day is 5 days hence over Easter

Understand the mechanism just not happy Jan because it is in their bank for five days.
