I reckon they do complete a credit check. So probably be mindful of this if you're going to need a "clean" credit file say just before applying for a home loan as I hear some lenders don't like it (I don't have it so no experience). With Zip pay, assuming you have a $2,000 limit, how would it work as a conduit to pay some of our "favourite" billers such as the Fiscal Fiend, Strata, etc? Can you put it into "credit" and do one big payment or limited to daily repayments of your Zip limit? ie Beem was good as we could make payments of no more than $2,000 but we discovered that wasn't a daily limit so larger payments would just be broken down into smaller ones of $2,000. Being able to pay for things in lump sums again would be awesome.Thanks for the tip!
I started looking into Zippay and they do a credit check. I'll wait until after I apply for my next credit card as I'm not sure if the Zippay query would impact my credit report.
