End of the third over 0/11, all runs still to Harris and Khawaja is lucky that Pant is tired:

2.3
0 runs
Mohammed Shami to Khawaja, no run, dropped by Pant, length around off, Khawaja pushes at it, gets a healthy edge that goes towards the left of Pant who moves across, goes for the catch and puts it down. Went through his hands

it seems a bit weird, and certainly unusual, to be sitting up in a SF hotel, after a very nice dinner, watching cricket on the computer. :)
I think our weird one was streaming AFL outside Hagia Sofia in Istanbul. Another time on Celebrity Equinox streaming AFL on the Coast just off Malta.

Change in the bowling for the 7th over - Jadeja comes on, so spin introduced to try and sneak a wicket? First maiden.

Definitely in trouble now. Team batting first has distinct advantage.

Is that each match this series? From memory we won toss in Perth.

Just a general comment on most of our pitches, regardless of this series.
Perth at least offered a bit for bat and ball...although it wasn't a consistent offering for the ball (bounce or roll).

Rather see some decent green on the pitch for sideways movement, especially through sessions 1 and 2.
Then flattening out through the middle of the Test, and breaking up for the spin on 4 and 5.
Easy.

So maybe the suggestion of allowing opposition teams to choose whether they bat or bowl will get them to liven up the pitches again?

Whilst against a long standing cricket condition, it's actually an idea that I reckon has some merit.

While the Indians arw bowling relatively well they're not making the ball dp anything much, and it's once again more of our batsmen making starts and not going on with it on a very subdue pitch.

It’s Tea

5/198. and in dire trouble - more from the potential thunderstorms than anything else

Sititing in a predominantly Indian section of the crowd, whenever we lose a wicket it’s a din!
