Strong start by Australia, but as usual I'm disappointed that the marsh brothers are in the team, sometimes it's harder to get dropped from the team than it is to be selected.

I'm guessing Australia will win this test regardless of their contribution (which i think will be little, :)), thus ensuring they will be selected again, ad nauseum.

I heard them referred to last week as the "photo twins".

When asked "what that meant?", the reply was they must have some compromising photographs of the selectors.

Great to see Gazza doing well though

As the Marsh brothers are next up is it the middle order or the tail? :) On a more positive and optimistic note, if they are ever going to perform now is the moment.
I was trying to be nice but you're right. Very good start and great opportunity for a win in UAE. With 12 wickets on first day you'd think there'll be a result in the match?

Big call given we havent batted yet.

Yep I agree, probably being too sure of myself, but I just have a feeling, maybe it's the greener wicket, dunno, but one can always live in hope.

Pakistan have been known to fold in the past when things don't go their way, i.e., they really should have won the first test.
Maybe under Mickey Arthur things will be different.
