Australian Cricket Season 2023-2024

I’m surprised Marnus hasn’t been chucked the ball

Or Stevie smith
I think Marnus bowled the last over? Not sure Smith had a roll this time, but couldn't be worse than the others!

Edit to add - yes, just 1 over for Marnus.... here's what it looks like at this point:

Well as long as the Aussies can bat out the rest of the day there seems a good chance the final 2 days will be washed out. The best that Australia can hope for.

I FEEL THE RAIN (KEY: "D")
CHORUS:
I FEEL THE RAIN (I FEEL THE RAIN) I FEEL THE RAIN (I FEEL THE RAIN) I FEEL IT FALLING DOWN ON ME
I FEEL THE RAIN (I FEEL THE RAIN) I FEEL THE RAIN (I FEEL THE RAIN) I FEEL IT FALLING DOWN ON ME
WELL THE FORMER AND THE LATTER RAIN TOGETHER AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE WEATHER

Idk about everyone here, but I'll take a drawn series in England every day of the week. Saying that, fully believe that this team was a very defensive selection, built to eke out a draw in the most likely scenario that England fire on the highway in Old Trafford.

Yes, the selections seemed to be all about trying not to lose instead of winning. Much as I dislike the thought England deserves the win.

Weather does not look at all good for today. So if they can't get play in tomorrow then Australia retains the Ashes. If the Brits win the last test then it's going to be pyrrhic victory.

Sunday looks promising. One session should be enough. Aussies do not deserve to win the series on what we've seen so far. Let there be a decider.

I don't understand this. The Aussies have lost all 4 coin tosses. Played on English friendly pitches. Been abused, heckled and provoked by the opposition, media and home supporters but still maintained their cool. They are 2-1 up and lost the 3rd test by 3 wickets which could have gone either way. coughmins' captaincy has been awful, they've lost their #1 spin bowler for the series , yet they still find a way to either win or be very competitive in a close loss.

Agree. Some don’t seem to support the Australian cricket team for unknown reasons. :)

The first test was silly declaration when they were way on top and Aussies lucky to win. Second and third could have gone either way so one a piece. England way on top in this one and looks like there may be some play today.

Personally I think the Aussie team is much stronger and they are number 1 in the world but they are not exactly dominating are they?
