How do you know the index case less than 24 hours after it all kicked off?Isnt the index case for the ACT outbreak a Canberra resident, who travelled to a hotspot and back?

It's the right thing now for you to go get vaccinated. And get your friends to do the same. You youngies spread this thing.I have a feeling that the numbers in Sydney will maintain above 300 today with more regional exposures and Melbourne is slowly dropping.
I think it's time to go and get vaccinated. I have been "doing the right thing" and waiting for the most vulnerable to have time to get their shots done. My only risk factor is being over 50. Haven't been excited abut the long lines in the small number of V sites on my side of town, so interested with the BCEC vaccination super hub. Maybe taking the kids into town for a family day....
There are rumoured to be large numbers of new cases in Dubbo, particularly affecting the indigenous community.New exposure sites in Dubbo, Byron Bay and Walgett
If you can access it watch the interview that ACT Chief Minister gave to ABC Breakfast. He really gave it to Gladys. Straight talking to some Canberrians too. Love the direct communication.

25 cases in Dubbo.
Sad as it is for the family involved, I hope this death is not reported in a sensational manner. Vaccinated or not, the prognosis for a person in their 90s in palliative care is not usually positive. And another death of a vaccinated person, again a 90s person who was in palliative care.
Interesting narrative, but I deal with many people in Canberra on a daily basis and there has been a "living on borrowed time" mentality throughout. No one was under any illusions that the sieve on the border would keep Delta out.I'm still confused about why ACT thought it would fare any different to NSW regions.
Except the ACT government when they lobbied other states to not declare it a hotspot.Interesting narrative, but I deal with many people in Canberra on a daily basis and there has been a "living on borrowed time" mentality throughout. Depends how many they detect.Seems to be a stable up trend now. About 100 a week. 500 this time next week?

NSW Premier noted 25And looks like WNSW is having the same issue as HNE in terms of case reporting.
Out of today's numbers, only 8 in Dubbo. The balance must have come after 8pm.
