But it’s OK, given Tas’ record with Covid ( better than NSW, BTW).
You are very brave countdown 5, 4, 3….

Obviously!

You completely missed the joke.
Just beautiful . Yes, I know Tas was leading or second in the vax rate ( behind ACT I think) until something happened in NSW and VIC to make them get a wriggle on. With no Covid ( except per the below), Tas vax rate will hit 90% double soon.Hermit kingdoms have no risk to manage. Tas has the worst case fatality rate, so not doing better on every metric. Also lags on vaccination rate. But you knew that.
I think gloating
There was another joke there?

Sure, Tas has risks to manage - like the NSW guy who lied and came in infected, escaped and was caught again. That risk was managed by arresting and charging him; remanded in custody. If found guilty he’s expected to do time.
Hermit Kingdom ( Sthn division) 1, away team nil.
BTW, more seriously, I think gloating about fatality rates is in poor taste,
I can't help but wish we have a few in SA to get people vaccinated. Controlled of course.Three more local cases in Queensland, all over the place and infectious in community (2 of them)

Mystery Gold Coast infection among two new cases as Qld prepares to ditch masks
Two new community cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Queensland, including a mystery case on the Gold Coast, as the state prepares to ditch mandatory masks.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said a 32-year-old man living at Pacific Pines on the Gold Coast had tested positive after being potentially infectious in the community for six days.

So largely seems that it’s circulating within Queensland (the south east anyway) and the low testing rate just isn’t picking it up. Not surprising given the high vaccination rate amongst those who are actually likely to be impacted (ie over 50).
Agree - I hate saying it but I have, along with many others, suspected this has been the case for a while now…
It does seem to be a case of someone using the wrong code for Ambulance transfer. We have all gone back to sleep. We are expecting a new covid case here in Lonnie. No details yet.

Queensland records another two new Covid cases including an ‘unlinked’ Gold Coast Uber driver, lockdown considered
Wild details of Qld croc attack revealed
Annastacia Palaszczuk has threatened to reinstate restrictions on the Gold Coast after an Uber driver was revealed as a new unlinked local infection.
The driver is one of two new local cases recorded in Queensland on Thursday, prompting health authorities to urgently begin tracing the driver’s passengers.
The Uber driver, a man in his 50s, was vaccinated but the Queensland Premier expressed concern for community transmission given the driver’s access to a wide number of residents while infectious for three days.
“If we see more unlinked community transmission on the Gold Coast in the next 24 to 48 hours, we may have to put in some further restrictions,” Ms Palaszczuk told reporters on Thursday morning.
