People travelling to South Australia who have been in the Greater Sydney Region (as defined by the Greater Sydney Commission Act 2015 NSW), Central Coast Council or Wollongong City Council in the previous 14 days must:
- get a COVID-19 test within 24 hours and self-quarantine until you receive a negative test result.
- wear a surgical face mask at any time you come into contact with the public until you receive a negative test result.
- get tested again on day 5 and day 12. There is no requirement to remain in quarantine after receiving a negative COVID-19 result in the first test (unless you have symptoms).
People travelling to South Australia from the Perth, Peel, or South West regions of Western Australia must:
- get a COVID-19 test within 24 hours and self-quarantine until you receive a negative test result.
- wear a surgical face mask at any time you come into contact with the public until you receive a negative test result.
- get tested again on day 5 and day 12. There is no requirement to remain in quarantine after receiving a negative COVID-19 result in the first test (unless you have symptoms).
