I've been on the TG461 a few times recently, business was packed, but economy looked very lightly loaded, maybe only 1/2 full. Not surprised they've reduced service on those.

Doing a screenshot booking right now, and it feels like it's been much slower in terms of response rate. Has anyone else found the same?

How long did it take you, from initial contact to all booked? Especially between when you submitted the screenshots and they called you to take payment?

I'm also going for an ambitiously circuitous routing, so I'd also guess the processing time is inversely proportional to simplicity of route.

From previous experience the replay was always up to 48hr irrespective of the complexity of the route.

In my specific case the response was 72hr later but since it was an urgent booking I’ve used UA miles instead and booked online.

Ah, that's definitely not ideal. Did any availability change in the 72 hours, and if so, how did they resolve that?

Long waiting time for screenshot bookings lately.
Anyone got a reasonable 48-72hr response from the “specialized department” or is it a waiting game for all?

Just wondering if anyone else signed up to one of the Club LifeMiles monthly miles buying plans?

I did in April, must've been a moment of madness!

The first batch posted on sign up...my card was then charged 3 weeks ago for the next lot...still no miles. The T&Cs say this should be 'immediate'. I have emailed support a week ago but still no sign of the elusive miles.

I just signed up! 1.35cpm, no expiry of miles, don't have to wait for bonuses or buy at lesser rates. I'm happy! Bought the top rate. Will keep an eye on miles accrual. Miles posted immediately.

I've been wanting LM for a long time but I don't think I'll use them that often as have NZ and SQ to burn. But I do have particular redemptions in mind (it's just finding the time), so slow accrual at a great rate will work for me. Hope your miles are posting regularly rather than having to fight for them every month. Also hoping I don't have the same issues.

Today I sent an email requesting Mel - SIN - IST - LIS on SQ/SQ/TK in J. Unfortunately the sq flights are on the regional business class seats it seems.

SQ usually restricts 'premium' business class (and first class) to its own members. Regional business class is usually available though. Sometimes you may get lucky with a premium seat operated on some regional flights, or in cases where they introduce a new plane or route and take a little while to 'block' it.

I don't believe it's (generally) possible to book anything other than regional business class on SQ using LifeMiles. I.e. Singapore Airlines doesn't release premium awards to partners for most flights on long-haul configured aircraft. This may be different if booking very close to departure.

Edit: MEL_Traveller beat me to it! Yes, there are exceptions e.g. SQ288 SIN-CBR.

I flew this year to SIN-IST and it’s operated on the refurbished 777-200 business class, lie flat old a380 business class seats. I was speaking to the FA and he said they use the lie flats on this route all the time and that it’s meant to change to a A350.
Must be a good route for SIA , our flight was fully booked
