Thanks. I take it I need to use the multi city tool to find these?

The multi city tool on LM is hopeless. Maybe they’ll fix it in the next system upgrade in February. Until then you’ll need to use screenshots. I believe there’s a guide on how to do LM screenshots either in this thread or in another dedicated thread.

Here's a couple of LM tips I recently discovered:-

1. ICN-YVR in J shows as 60,000 points (instead of 75,000 according to the chart and other searches from Asia-Canada / US) - I didn't proceed to booking so not sure if it's corrected on the next step

2. AC bookings always error out if you select "Smart Search" but work if you specifically select Air Canada instead. (Sorry for the cross post in the successful bookings thread but I really wanted to share this tip).

Great itinerary! Are the TG segments considered one ticket?

Note that you can add free domestic connection on UA in case your final destination is not LAX.

But you can't do this after ticketing can you? or is this an LM feature I was unaware of - if yes - great.

LM often don’t ticket the booking immediately after payment. Sometimes they completely forget to ticket but that’s another story... Anyway, as long as not ticketed there should be no problem adding segments.

Awesome! This is a great way to get to the US. I'll definitely try it for my next trip.

Used to be even more awesome when TG flew F to Seoul.
Another option for F all the way, if flying solo, is via Tokyo.

Well the new site is live and it seems to be able to search on partners it wasn't able to before. How is everyone else finding it?

Had a quick look last night - other than presentation I could not detect any differences. What (new) partners are you seeing? Trying to determine if long layovers now show up.

Thanks - I also just noted that itineraries with an AC segment don't error out any more when AC is only used on one segment. (Selecting AC as the airline instead of Smart Search - which was the workaround previously doesn't work (of course) with a multi-airlines itinerary).

While "clumsy" the new interface makes it a little easier to chop and change routes and / or dates - as I desperately try to find 2 business class seats on YVR-SYD for early Feb 2020 - doing trial searches at the moment until my desired date(s) open next week. For some reason several airlines only seem to open 1 seat now (e.g. ANA to/from SYD - HND, OZ to/from ICN - SYD and AC to/from SYD and BNE) - will probably need to fly different routes on the same day or buy a 1-way ticket (already got 2 AC seats going over mid-Jan - some kind of a miracle or mistake by AC).

Great news - looks like the new website is at least working for this sort of booking - is there a long layover in BKK?
Just under 8 hours unfortunately...not a great time of day to head into Bangkok though.
