After 2 days of checking CMT, eticket finally showing... Called and booked 1A, no issues. Thanks for help guys

I need to split family to book four J seats with Thai ,question is do they release J seat inventory the same as they do with USDM ,there is availability for 2 x F and 2 x J on same flights but SWMBO wants the family in J ?

I had some flight's lined up to book and searching now after they performed maintenance nothing is showing for weeks on end. The flights are still definitely available on other search engines. Hmm...

The system was showing availability today but nothing tonight gee I hope it is temporary.

For Syd-Bkk-Fra on TG next year, there were 2 award seats in F and 2 in J. I booked the 2 F seats and 1 J seat.....a week later, a 3rd F seat became available so i booked it, and cancelled the J seat.

I am quite happy to book the wife and no 2 son in F and myself and no 1 in J , if another two seat in F do not become available then no big loss it beats sitting down the back.

Greetings. I am trying to digest some of these pages so bear with me... I am a Lifemiles member and am eager to learn all the details you guys have mastered.

I was extremely lucky to visit your spectacular country back in 1996. At that time I was working for AA and was able to fly Qantas F (nonrev). I visited Sydney, Adelaide,the Gold Coast and Cairn, and enjoyed your Australian hospitality. I am planning to visit Australia once again next year and visit Melbourne, the Outback and Perth.

Even in F back then, the flight was long and exhausting and thought that a trip in coach would never be possible, not me. I have over 55k LM and am thinking of buying more miles. I am thinking to review these pages which will be very productive. So again hi to all of you !

Is there a table which shows the number of Miles required to fly to different areas ?

The AA table for one world flights is a good example. Does Avianca have one for *A ?

Anyone know whether / how you can prebook seats in J on LH? Have a booking Fra-Led in J next year on LH. Can't do seat selection online on the LH website so rang Lufthansa in Australia...agent could pull reservation and see seat configuration but was unable to select seats...she didn't know why! Anyone can shed more light on this?

Usually you can do it online. Is it actually operated LH? Maybe it's operated by Germanwings or something?

Do you guys know when the airlines usually send out tickets? I've booked with Thai and received the Lifemiles confirmation. Also called to confirm seats so everything went through. Will be departing soon, but haven't received an e-mail from Thai with any ticket information. Perhaps the Lifemiles e-mail is sufficient?

You won't receive anything from Thai. All you need is your passports.
