They proudly have their Skytrax 5 star airport plaque out the front. This flight was originally meant to be a 757 but has been swapped to an A340-500.

As we boarded we past the awesome business class bar and lounge and then the mini business class cabin. The bar and lounge area looked really cool! Once again our seats were very comfortable, felt spacious and with a foot rest.

Warm towels and apple booked lollies were handed out after takeoff then shortly after breakfast was served.

Choice of sausage or crepe. I choose the crepe and it was a Chocolate crepe with fruit in with it. It was ok , looked worse then it was, on the tray it came with ham and cheese, fresh fruit which was really nice , and a stack of carbs. A crossiant , a slice of banana bread and a apricot danish. Talk about carb loading. I only ate the crossiant as it was warm and fresh.

A very comfortable flight and we arrived about 10 min late.

We made our to the Turkish airlines lounge thanks to united airlines status match from a couple weeks (matched my gold velocity)

Golly gosh this lounge is mammoth , she’s a big one, cooking stations , golf simulator, Cinema , pianos playing , Xboxes. But it is packed with people laying on the chairs and couches with their on tables , people sleeping everywhere. There is no etiquette here !
I got a couple sneaky shots of the business cabin but I couldn’t get the on board lounge
And a sneaky photo of one of the many feet on couches everywhere.

Boarded via bus and stairs again, it was my first time on a A321, upon boarding straight away it just felt cramped, maybe it’s the extra length and people when walking down the aisle makes it feel like that. Once seated you could notice the difference in legroom and seat comfort compared to Azerbaijan airlines.

A hot meal was served about
40 minutes after take off, I had the beef and eggplant and it was really Nice, better then some business class meals I’ve had. A little strawberry yoghurt and cup of tea rounded out a nice lunch.

There was no IFE so it was a
Bit boring , I read the in flight magazine six times front and back!

A restful night in our hotel and cruise departs tomorrow! I feel like I’ve put on weight so far with all this food , which isn’t a good start before getting on a cruise

It’s day 2 on the cruise and we are in Rostock. Our first night aboard Norwegian breakaway was excellent with coughtails and a lovely dinner. We paid $75pp to upgrade from a balcony to balcony suite a couple weeks before we left. Absolute bargain, bathroom has a his and hers sink, shower is huge and room is very roomy. All up it was $2200 pp for
The cruise which includes , drinks package and 3 free specialty dining. We used one last night and had dinner outside in the Italian restaurant, not a breath of wind, lovely view and Delicious food.
Just in Rostock now, pretty low key town, just having coffee in the square and admiring the old buildings . Tomorrow is a day at sea then Tallin.

Just in tallin, Estonia having lunch.
This is such a great little city, the old town is beautiful , and I recommend climbing up the church (oleviste Kirik) near one of the entrances, it’s a great view of the ocean and the old city, there is beautiful gardens just outside the old city as well tonealk through and the locals walk their dogs. We just walked in from the cruise ship, no tours and it’s a 20 minute Walk and easy to get around. Just at one of the Tallin restaurant recommendations from AFF called Sfaar, just outside the old city, absolutely beautiful lunch, I had the cod and it was unreal. If you come to Tallin, do the old City and then come here for a lovely relaxing lunch.
Yesterday was a day at sea and sunset was 11pm, it felt so weird. A relaxing day at the back of the boat in the adults only spa and bar area. Next stop Russia tomorrow.

Hi henleybeach, Are there any facilities at the cruise terminal at CPH? Restaurants? cafes? shopping? We arrive CPH at 7 am and embarkation is not until 12 noon. What is there to do at the terminal for a few hours? Thanks!

Was that Fat Margaret's Tower I saw in an early Tallin pic? I will be there in a few weeks, good to know what to look out for.

From what we experienced , there was nothing. Check in terminal was like a giant marquee tent and that was it. Unfortunately Nothing to do there at all.

I’ll do a Russia update in a couple days . Not much wifi here and we don’t have the package on the ship. It was our
first day today, the Peterhof gardens are unreal! Another day tomorrow exploring. More details and pics to come
