Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

Obviously Rick93 is not an overly busy man!!!

I believe they answered your question :D

Well, today I clicked off 362 transactions between Coles & Woolies !!

I call in to a local Coles to where I work Night Shifts, and then a few others during the day.

I buy a few items, but pay for them one at a time - on a different machine. That avoids the potential of 'crashing' a machine ...

That now makes sense. If we day workers had the time to head to a local Coles/Woolies before they closed at night and process that many transactions, we'd be up with Rick93...

Hmmm, I've been out of the country for a month but before I left I was paying my Vodafone bill in 5 cent increments i think and it working fine, have they recently upped it to $1 minimum transactions have they???

I moved to Vodafone about 6 weeks ago, and it has been $1 minimum since my very first bill. For the last couple of days though I have been getting "Blocked Card" error :-(

Not sure why you are bothering to do so many transactions when you only get points for the first 50 each day?

I counted all my Coles / Woolies transactions, as PRINTED on my first few e-Statements, and I definately received confirmed QFF points for more than 50 transactions per day, when the points were declared on the monthly statement ...

i'm due my second allotment of QFF points in just a week's time. I'll most definately confirm what is ACTUALLY happening when the next monthly statement comes through, as I'm expecting ( if this all works ) something like 20,000 points per card account !!!

If one was to get a 'replacement' card, same card number, different expiry and different 3 digit code on the back would that entitle more transactions per day used in conjunction with the old card? Or because they are the same number you'll be restricted to 50 transactions between the two?

You *should* be allowed another 50 on the new card but I can't guarantee it.

How would you get a replacement card without them cancelling the current card? I presume you'd have to give a reason such as lost/stolen to get a replacement? Both these types of reasons would surely prompt them to cancel the card for security reasons right?

You could just say the card is damaged and not working correctly and they'll re-issue.

Didn't consider that option. Yea I suppose that would lower the risk of them deactivating the current card.

Have you done that successfully? Or even say that the physical card doesn't swipe but you can still use the details to make online purchases and you still want to use it until the new one comes...?

The new card should be identical to the old

Just say you wish to downgrade from platinum, or upgrade from basic.

Reason (s):

1) no longer wish to save $2k per fortnight/ $4k per month.

2) you can save to not be issued the monthly fee.

Gosh! I'm so disappointed ...
My eStatement came through today, and I 'only' received 15,003 points !! ( thought I was heading towards 20k )
However, it does PROVE, that if you can click off X number of transactions, you WILL get the QFF points credited to your account.
If it was only 50 per day ( strictly ), then that would mean, I shouldn't have received any more than 7,500 points over the 30-day period.
My partner's card statement hasn't come through yet, though, I'm expecting roughly the same number of points again ...

18855 on my estatement this month. Last 3 days of the month weren't processed until Dec so will have an added kick come next month. This happens every week it seems - Fri transaction show up on Monday & Sat/Sun (as well as Mon) transactions show up on Tues. Every other day shows up the following day.

Thought I was doing well ...

GOOD WORK !!

Had 3 cards going until I got the 4th at the start of the last week of the month. Missed a few days at the beginning of November as I was on a holiday. If I run all 4 cards every day in December I'm estimating 33k when the last few days of Nov are added on.

I've tried repeatedly to use iMacros to create a macro to effectively use my Bankwest Qantas Mastercard on the Telstra 'Pay my bill' site. I haven't been able to do so successfully. I get two different error messages one of which is:

"Unfortunately an unexpected error has occurred in our systems and we can't process your payment at this time. Please try again later."

Any suggestions/advice? I read various comments on this thread that the macro simply needs to instruct a refresh of the post-payment 'Thank you' screen but this failed. I also noticed that when I manually refresh, no subsequent payments are effected and the original receipt number just keeps being re-displayed.

Also, are there other sites that allow 1 cent payments?

Thanks in advance for any help.
