Enhancing and Simplifying your New Year…

TPA/MCO-CLT/MIA-DFW-CUN. Best I’ve found is 220 SCs for $277 USD @ $1.26 per SC.

For those arriving in LAX, I’m seeing reasonable positioning flights allowing for early QF arrival and 2hr transit window for an onward ticket– LAX-ORD-MIA-MCO 250 SCs for $573 USD @ $2.29 per SC.

Both routes available in reverse throughout the year with some prices 10-20% higher depending on dates.

But if Orlando is your thing, same day returns available MCO-DFW-ORD and vv 180 SCs for $350 USD @ $1.94 per SC.

ORD-DFW-MCO looks good for us as we will already be in ORD. Just need to get from MCO to LAX...

Oops, small error in one of my calcs. The Cancun run is actually 190 (40+90+60) SCs for $277 USD so works out at $1.45 per SC.

Will edit original to reflect correction.

Wow, Usd$277 for 190 QF SCs????? That a hugely great (return on investment, or) return on $ spent.
Here (as we all know), Aud$232 for only 20 QF SCs, ADL - MEL - ADL!

This looks great! Thanks.

Any comments on immigration or scheduling difficulty of turnaround in CUN?
I would personally be warey of a direct turn around in CUN, but that i'd say for any destination in Mexico.

Puerto Rico would be a better option; it's technically part of the USA, so no customs or immigration, just the 'delightful' TSA to deal with.

Hi All

Need some help please.
2 years ago we did a status run from HNL- SJU for about $1100.00 return (with lots of help from this forum and OzBeachbabe ( did a cruise in this time too) ....I am back in Honolulu in November and have a week that I would like to do another status run to retain gold, maybe stay a few days and then come back to HNL and then fly back to Melbourne. ( Mel-HNL flights booked) This time does not have to be the Caribbean, and looking at the aa site it seems the costs have doubled anyway. If anyone has an suggestions I would be grateful for around $600 one way...quite keen on visiting Washington and or Nashville time permitting but in the end its about earning the sc's Thanks

Another option to look at is ORD-DFW-TPA which can be done return for around $695. Also earns 360SC for the full loop.
