Birds of a feather

I have been busy and the weather has been terrible for me so haven't gone out with my camera much. Perhaps I shall again soon.
We use this to identify them including calls.

Looks like a good app, makes me want an M1 mac even more so I can use it easily on the desktop though.

I have the iPhone app.

Indeed, but with one of the new ARM macs you can run iPhone and iPad apps on your mac, opening up a world of possibilities.

Great photos from the Galapagos Islands!
Makes it difficult to carry into the field though.:)

More about when you get home and you're looking through your snaps and want to make sure you are categorising them properly. Sure, I could use my smaller phone screen... or I could simply open the app on my computer (if it allows) and more easily search, compare, copy and paste etc.

Slimbridge Wetland Centre I spent a day here in 2017 and loved it. They have 7 different kinds of flamingos

Your lovely flamingo pictures reminded me of mine at Galapagos - and all those other ones.

On Santa Cruz island we went for a guided walk and were promised flamingos on an inland lagoon. Here is the flock:

Yes, just one, single, solitary flamingo. I think it was the 'emergency' one, so, if tourists arrive and there's no birds, they hit a button and this one pops up from the water. Actually, it did perform a bit :)
