Haha...well actually paid row 26 but not more than the flight. I always fly this seat as i get to sit fully reclined in the middle away from the exits. Very comfy. I figured i got a cheap flight so i can afford the seats. ;-)
I think I was automatically allocated either row 25 or 26 aisle. Will definitely be tired. Should be able to sleep.

Youll be right.

Wont be as bad as my $600 YQ free fare back in Jan, when the B seat held a 6''6" slim gentleman (nice enough guy from PHX) who was physically unable to keep his right elbow away from my C seat which was already full with me in it.

I have. I'm currently at BNE airport. Flew MEL - BNE this morning and my BNE - LAX leg is currently boarding as I type. Didn't experience any issues at all. Wish me luck for the next 12 hours in row 43. D:

Brilliant, have a safe and enjoyable flight.

Just shown the last posts of this thread to my wife - ecstatic she is!!

Sorry, I've gone against the golden rule and called to get bassinet row - Row 21ABC - which I can gather in the re-config from other threads is in front of a b-head/toilet. No issues with the booking whatsoever.

She wants to know why I am a SG and she is called a PS....

My friend and his friend departed earlier today from BNE on row 46, en route to LAX now. They said check in was smooth. Nothing happened.

Really enjoying our long weekend! Dreading the 14 hours back in Y though (my goodness I'm spoilt these days).

Had dinner tonight at EP & LP which was great.

Been driving around in our Silvercar all day which has been great (promo link if you're interested – I couldn't see any on AFF).

Having never been beyond LAX before, the city is exceeding expectations!

This has to be one of the best milage runs of my life.

For under $400, I've earned about 32,000 points thanks to WP bonus, and the conveniently timed double-point bonus to LA.

With family pooling and a few domestic flights I should return from this trip WP. Not bad considering I haven't even been silver before.

Which double-point bonus to LA? I must have missed that offer.

My flights are in 2 days time. I think I chose seats 25D and 25C originally via Orbitz. I cannot go into my booking online with Virgin.

Is it worth calling Virgin to try and improve those seats as there are empty aisles in row 20/21? Too risky? Has anyone else called?
