Bonza Airline Discussion

I'm having trouble with the check in process. At the dangerous goods question I select "No, I'm not" and get a error "something went wrong, Please try again"
Same when I use another phone
I have tried to contact them through live chat for the last few hours, No response.
Anything else I can do?
Maybe select the alternative option? Be forking hilarious if they have a cookies function enabled and tracks your response everytime you press on the you-know-what. Oh wait this is the Ossie govrmt nvm

Interesting to note that Bonza has quietly cancelled OOL-Gladstone route. I got a email on 9 March advising route cancellation and a full refund. I then receive a email today advising me to check in! On line chat hopeless and no response to emails.

There were many reasons that it would have been good for them to do well. Some of the routes they've chosen really deserve to succeed. And I know that I'm an old person, but no web site? Really? When I discovered that, it was the end of my personal booking experience, though I'd already noted that the route I was looking at had a nasty habit of being cancelled.

I'm not that old and can't beleive there is no website either. This must be the biggest decisioncosting them bookings. I just don't understand why. It couldn't cost more than a few thousand dollars considering considering it all needs to work for an app anyway.

Looks like your wishes have been granted. Website bookings are now appearing on flybonza.com
Oh wow this is some rookie coding:

You can change destination/origin to get the raw result of prices.

Additionally the whole site is delivered in a weird way, some very interesting info delivered to the browser:

Fairly sure the software/booking platforms are all in house, ie is another subsidiary of 777 Partners.

Would appear OOL is one aircraft short. The Nauru aircraft left yesterday but nothing replaced it.

Terrible time to be cancelling flights over the coming days

Some eye watering delays too. The 0630 OOL-TSV is delayed until 2200, and the 0830 TSV-MCY until 0040. And the inaugural MCY-LST today was about 2 hours late.

That Flair aircraft sitting in MCY would be really useful right now.

Planning has never been their expertise.

It does appear they have pulled back a whole bunch of OOL flying next week, only enough flying for 1 aircraft having a Look.

More cancellations ex-OOL over the next couple of days. Nauru doesn't appear to be operating and some flights using the spare Bonza aircraft have also been cancelled. Crewing issues maybe?

Also some lengthy delays ex-MCY today after an aircraft got stuck in CNS overnight. MCY-TSV delayed 10 hours, MCY-LST delayed 6 hours.

Granted they often aren't as easy to find/manipulate as this Bonza one, but I'd wager that just about every website you regularly use would rely on APIs like this to function. Modern day websites are much more efficient to serve to a user by pumping the raw data to their brower and for the rendering to happen at their end (client side) than it is for the site to be packaged up on the website's end (server side) and sent to the user in a static form.

By way of example/comparison, the flight availability API on VA's website serves up some equally interesting data fields that aren't always visible to the user on the website (I am using the 'Inspect' tool in Chrome, which you can access by presing CTRL + ALT + I).
