Oh and I've now booked my flights.

27 APR DJ184 BNE-AKL 06:45-11:50
29 APR QF126 AKL-BNE 15:30-17:25

It feels kind of wrong to be flying direct :)

See u back soon on the forum and wish you a speedy recovery.

Have received some exciting news and am pleased to confirm that we will now have some prizes to be given away during lunch.

Also from bossreggie, I will be selecting a winner at random and that person will have their lunch, drinks on the drinks night/s, transfers in AKL (to and from airport in 7 Series BMW) plus the winery tour, all paid for by me!!

I will choose the winner at random from the first 20 who have booked and paid for the lunch. This will be for ONE person only. (except transfers)

Please don't worry if you have NOT received an email yet. There are a lot to go through and I have quite a few special dietary requests to arrange. I WILL email everyone even if it is to tell you that we were not able to confirm a place for you for the lunch.

Oooooh - this just keeps getting better!
Hope I'm "in" as I have booked my flights

Take care bossreggie - will be thinking of you...

They are they only two in the J cabin and I suspect took the U-class availability!!

So much for my JASA plans ;)

I may resemble that remark!
If only it wasn't a 737!

Pity about deathstar on the way back but i suspect i'll be sleeping!

Are you sure you don't want to join awilcockson on QF55 earlier in the day...... I have an EF alert set just in case you do ;)

Good luck for your procedure, I'm sure you will make an exemplary patient :)
I have sent an email to you regarding the lunch.
Sadly unable to confirm within the timeframe :(

ahh you mean the flight that falls 5 minutes outside my allowed transfer time? *S*

And that would deprive mrs C of her first f lounge experience
(that would be the woman who accused me of elitist tendencies for using lounges then on our OS trips quite happily goes in them and says things like "we can do that in teh lounge")

be well Bossreggie!

All the best with the procedure bossreggie.
Sigh, won't be able to go that weekend.
Enjoy the AKL do!

Hi awilcockson.

I have begun emailing members already with confirmation.

My expectation is that we will have numbers finalised within a week.

If you have voted and you intend on joining the group please do not waste time or you may well miss out.

My SWMBO used similar, but more direct words than 'elitist'...... I'm pretty sure 'pretentious' was amongst them......Some eggs benedict in the SYD F lounge did however elicit a 'this is a nice way to begin an international flight' ;)

Not to worry - I will no doubt see you in the F lounge.

Flights booked:

27th April (YASA)
QF 921 CNS-SYD
QF 43 SYD-AKL

29th April (whY)
QF 126 AKL-BNE
QF 786 BNE-CNS

bossreggie - see you on the other side

Best wishes for a speedy recovery bossreggie.

Sadly I can't confirm my availability yet for that weekend due to some work commitments..

I have a conflicting engagement that weekend so will not be able to make it. Have fun folks, and get well bossreggie.

I see that awilcockson and storyteller's memberships have been sorted which should sort out their PM limits.

Where were you when we needed you? It's all over bar the shouting. :D
Still think PayPal had a glitch in the system, as it didn't get sorted on its own.

Are you two coming over for lunch?
