Currently figuring out how we get from KOA on 25/4 after 5pm to AKL in time for lunch. I *will* make it happen. We may have to go via LAX or Mr Katie & Little Miss might go back to Aus before Mr Katie comes to AKL.
When I first voted for the dates, our trip to Hawaii was going to be the first two weeks of April, but the conference dates have been shifted. Whatever, Mr Katie & me will be there, even if arriving from LAX at 8am and leacing Little Miss in a hotel room with the non-alcoholic minibar contents and DVD player at her disposal. ;)
(Joking. Really. We might show her how to order room service & forge our signatures. :p)

As a Uni student, with lots of uni student friends, if you need/want a baby sitter, I'm sure I could help you find someone. Let me know if that interests you.

I may or may not have been rebooting the server this morning, forgetting people are actually using that server ;-)

Like others have - sent back Excel and the form from the link. And thanks again for everything.

Helen

The Hilton seems to be booked out that weekend, I wonder who took all the rooms? Guess I'll have to find somewhere that my PC status will come in handy. :)

????......I can see numerous rooms available 27-29 April ATM

The Crowne Plaza had reasonably cheap rooms available when I booked :)

The copthorne is close. Not 5 star but a bed none the less. It's where I ended up. A biz hotel I think, I have not stayed there before

Odd, I could not get any to come up, and said all surrounding dates were also unavailable. Perhaps because I was looking for a room for 2 adults and 1 child?

Personally I'd pick the Mercure over the copthorne, because it is only about 2 minutes walk further, but I think it is a nocer hotel, in saying that, they are both old, the copthorne more so. location wise, the copthorne is right across the road from the hilton, also, it is more a japanese tourist on group tours hotel.

Another option is the sebel (one of the brands from that group) in the viaduct, if you are looking for a place with a kitchen(ette?). possibly a better option for those with kids

The trusty TA has found some availability for me. But it was with King + rollaway - nice tip, Lindsay!

Oh well too late now !

Might be worth noting that there is a QF NZ sale on at the moment, with fares from Auckland->MEL/SYD/BNE available for $189NZ. Finishes today.

So I've got a ticket back to Australia - just need to get there now!

Thanks Mark.

I could be useful.
