Yes..... ISTR you enjoyed several "Lemon, Lime and Bitters"!

Was pleased you were able to stay for dinner. After you left, my Mothers best friend said you were very nice BTW.

I'll take good food over rugby any day. (but then I'd take most things over rugby). Also, If I was going to watch a game of rugby, I'm not sure going with a bunch of australians would be the best plan

All I know about are the Bag tags? do people get T-shirts when the reach a certain number of posts? or do you just want people to turn up in Qantas First Pyjamas...

which come to think of it, would probably be loose enough to fit 7 courses and a steak... pity about the lack of collar

Defnitely getting excited!
30 sleeps til we go to HNL, and then the Bossreggie lunch on the way home. Have just been able to make some changes so we're not doing overnight flights two nights in a row (KOA-LAX and LAX-AKL) before the lunch. Now flying HNL-LAX on 25/4 during the day. Got to decide if we'll stay at a hotel at LAX or stay at a Disneyland hotel for the night ... and then hoping for J upgrades to come through on QF26 on 26/4 so that we're in good form for lunch!

Oh, and maybe chat to mr_osborne or my Mum re her rellies in AKL for a babysitter.

I can't make this for two reasons: I'll be cruising the Kimberley coast and as I have never met BR (or any other AFFers yet) I wouldn't have made the cut anyway . But I just scoped the wine list at Jervois - nice .

BR: can you please post the link to the place where the scraps for the lunch are being served? I'd like to drool over their wine list .

Hey, So I just got an email Advertising 40% off Accor bookings, which covers 15 april to 30 June.

I looked in the dates of the BR lunch weekend, and it seems you can get the Mercure Auckland, for $71 (AUD 55) a night, and the pullman for $155 NZD a night....

Howevere, wjhat might be of more interest, is you can get the junior suite at the mercure for $100AUD a night, and you can get an executive King suite (Including Club access) for NZD $230 a night , which works out at AUD 180 a night.... .

As previously stated, the mercure doesn't officially recognise A|club status for room upgrades, but unoficially it has a unofficial policy of upgrading platinums to junior suites/higher floors.

I'm thinking I might even get a night on saturday to save driving home.... The sale ends on the 30th, but rates may go up before then, and It says exclusive, so I'm not sure if everyone can access it, I got sent it as a platinum
