Nip! Vigemute ...

My favourite part was where the NZ herald was discussing alternates, and mentioned Peanut butter and Jelly, saying we could adopt it from the Americans, and then went on to say, we're not quite sure how you put jelly on toast though.

Yes. I always wondered about that. But of course it really means " peanut butter and JAM"
Well the yanks took our beloved ( Aussie) Vegemite. Promptly banned its import into the U.S. ( although that been fixed now I believe) and have declared it " revolting" anyway.

I tried to do a pre poll vote last week and was told could not be done yet.

I'm hoping our postal votes arrive before we fly to HNL on 13/4. The slate of candidates only became official yesterday (they had til 12noon to put their names forward).

Good call.

Ummm... now how do I go about this... never had to do a postal vote in my life (i.e. a vote by post, not a vote where I get to wield a machine gun and massacre a few dozen pollies in a mental rampage)...

Yesterday, we each (as well as one former occupant of our house -we moved in 1 year ago!) received postal vote application forms from our helpful local LNP candidate for our ward. Otherwise, there is information on the letter that your voting ID slip was on, as it covered both elections, about applying for a postal vote. If both of those fail, see if the AEC has a website link for postal votes??

Here is a link you can download a form for postal request.

Is there a list of attendees for the lunch?

I need to finalise accomodation and flights this week, is there a group going over on the same flights or is everyone doing their own thing?
