I'd just like a brief list of those who want transfers and those who wish to attend Steak night and winery tour... Can this please be done as soon as possible so I can finalise numbers. Thanks.

Yes to steak night includes +1
Yes to wine tour ( solo )
No to airport transfers

I think there is a few diamond members so we will have pre dinner drinks before the steak night.

We (+1 and myself) would like to meet up for drinks but anticipate that the limited places available for the steak dinner could be better used by those that have hardier appetites than ourselves :-|

Yes they do...

I just rang them to check...lol
What sort of lounge?

AFAIK, the Auckland Hilton does not have an Executive lounge. (like one that serves 'complimentary' alcoholic drinks with canapes etc. every evening.)

I stayed there last week and can confirm that there is no exec lounge.

Have a great time everyone.kicking myself now as cancelled surgery means I could have made it.
once again thanks to bossreggie for making it all possible.

I am thinking we can meet at Hilton at 5pm but then again I am not sure what time and also when we have to go to the steak house either.

there is always the Viaduct basin precinct. Bars etc and reasonably central.
I think Bossreggie is already recognisable there :)
Are we goiing to the resturant in a bus? or making our own way there? shared taxi etc
.
also those who are not attending the steak dinner and are in town could use the viaduct as a starting point for any other festivities and we COULD adjourn there for a few after the dinner and report to the non attendees? .......or whatever ?

I am old and infirm..........so wont be walking. actually I have some issues with dodgy knees etc

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Me and my +1 are staying at the Hilton and would happily join anyone holding predrinks!

I didn't realize that taxis are so expensive from the airport to the Hilton! So from what I read, shuttles are the most cost effective. What is the recommended company to take?

we are arriving in Auckland tomorrow at 5:30pm. Hoping to have a bite to eat at dinner, then get tot the city and watch the Avengers!

Airbus Express - Transport from Auckland Airport to Auckland City | Auckland City to Auckland Airport | Every 15 minutes

Walk outside, go across one small access lane, then there is a place where the machines are for the car park and then on the right is a place where the buses pull in.

AirBus they come every 10 minutes or so in peak time, and its about 45-55 minutes into town.
