Hey, just a few things to correct, A taxi is not NZ $130+, if you go to Air New Zealand Taxis : Plan Transfer, then you can book a taxi through AirNZ, for a fixed price, and a taxi from the CBD ranges from 60-90 ish NZD. The airbus would be a good option for people staying in the hilton, and probably about a 10 min walk to the sofitel (on the flat, around the waterfront), and I believe 10 mins up hill to the crowne.

Also, JSH is quite a substantial walk from the hilton, (Google Maps), a 30 minute walk, with a hill involved. It's around 2.5 KM, so It's doable, but just bear in mind it's a significant walk.

So looks like we will have to get a maxi taxi or a bus service?

I'd just like a brief list of those who want transfers and those who wish to attend Steak night and winery tour... Can this please be done as soon as possible so I can finalise numbers. Thanks.

Arrival Transfer Yes
Steak night Yes
Winery tour Yes
:D

Yeah, I paid $90 to get to North Harbour last year from the Airport.

Greg.

No thanks to arrival transfer.
No thanks to the steak dinner.
Probably best for others if we don't do the winery tour, so no thanks (Little Miss + jet lag, not fun. She also seems to prefer Champagne where there are lots of stairs to climb)

No for transfers
Yes for steak +1 if you have room for 2 more.
No for winery

Thanks Boss. Arranging functions for a group of AFFers must be like trying to herd a clowder of cats.

Just to re-confirm...

I'll be at the lunch only, no transfers required thanks.

Greg.

Just to re-confirm as well.. I will be at all 3 events. and don't need transfers. Have something arranged with Simo and a couple others!
