I'm for Germany, still have relatives there

Dad went to Germany twice to work back in the 60's and he was on his way for a third stint when my grandfather was ill. We could have migrated to Germany instead of Australia. A few of my uncles and aunts also worked there and settled there at various times. Still have cousins there.

I would love to see a European side win it.

There are a lot of Argentinians around here in Rio though there are still Germans about. Germany I think are favourites and all Brazilians are also supporting Germany.

It would be the ultimate humiliation for Argentina to win the World Cup at the iconic Maracana stadium.

My Granddad flew to Germany many times........never landed.

Well Russia is the next host, so makes a bit of sense he be there to acknowledge the next host. They already have artwork for the cities out for the next world cup.

Yes they did. My youngest is back at work and his older brother has started travelling in the US. Last night was New Orleans.
Getting out of Brazil on AA was a bit difficult because AA oversold the seats.
